ASEAN music festival returns to Capital

Themed “ASEAN Pride – Celebrating Diversity”, the day gathered bands across the region as well as art and community groups in and around Ha Noi.

With confirmed acts such as Protocol Afro (Indonesia), Big Bag (Myanmar), the Pinholes (Singapore) and Stylish Nonsense (Thailand), as well as many Vietnamese acts, this event is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy Asian youth culture in Viet Nam.

Hosted by the US embassy in Ha Noi and CAMA Viet Nam, the festival promoted cultural vibrancy and raised awareness about ASEAN community pride by eliminating inequality and discrimination towards lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people.

The festival, held at American Club, 19-21 Hai Ba Trung Street, also featured an arts market run by the Ha Noi Flea Market, an arts area and a children’s play area.
