“Asian – Europe” New Music Festival 2014 held in October

The festival will feature symphony orchestra, chamber orchestra, chamber music and solo repertoire programs in various genres, including symphonic music, auditorium, traditional music, opera, ballet, chorus and youth music.

Around 200 artists from 30 nations and territories have registered to join the Festival. Most entries include temporary works created in the 21st century.

This is a prestigious music event in the world first initiated by composers in Russia and Tatarstan in 1993. The festival is organized biennially, drawing the participation of 45 countries in Asia and Europe and receiving great applause from audience.

The opening ceremony will be held at 19:30 on October 8 at the Ha Noi Opera House.
