The band, which performed at Asia’s biggest music industry showcase in Singapore last weekend, is coming to Ha Noi with the support of CAMA and the Australian Embassy.
The show will bring new music to Vietnamese audiences and provide opportunities for Vietnamese bands to perform alongside great international acts like The Love Junkies.
“The visit by The Love Junkies is a part of the Australian Embassy cultural program which aims to strengthen people-to-people links between Australia and Viet Nam. We are excited to introduce new music to Viet Nam and very pleased to be able to support other Australian charity organisations in Viet Nam at the same time”, said Ms Angela Pickett, First Secretary of the Australian Embassy in Ha Noi.
The Embassy is also assisting KOTO, an Australian charity organisation to run a BBQ at the concert with all profits going back to the school which provides hospitality training for Children’s Foundation, an Australian charity that reaches out to kids in crisis throughout Viet Nam. The band will be working with Blue Dragon kids to compose a song which is expected to be released for sale to generate an income for Blue Dragon. - PCV
