VGP - Orphan and HIV/AIDS children under care at Ha Noi’s Bo De pagoda now have clean water for daily use as well as access to a modern library, which are the result of an Australian-funded project.

With a total capital of VND389 million ($18.200) funded by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and donations from Ha Noi-based organisations, the project equips the pagoda with a well-water filter system as well as furniture, computers and learning tools for its library.

According to Deputy Director of the municipal Health Department, the project will help the children have a good health and the best learning conditions, facilitating their integration into the community.

Bo De pagoda is taking care of 260 orphans, including more than 10 HIV-infected children.-VNA
