Capital moves to deal with traffic congestions
VGP – The Ha Noi municipal People’s Committee has tasked departments, sectors, districts to ensure transport safety and reduce traffic accidents by 5-10% in three criteria (number of cases, number of deaths, and number of injuries) in the rest of 2019.

The Director of Ha Noi’s Public Security was asked to strengthen investigations to control and punish infringements of traffic order and safety; regulate traffic at rush hours and key areas especially during festivals and importantly politic, cultural and sport events.
Campaigns on transport safety and prevention of traffic congestions will be held on the occasion of the National Day (September 2), New Year Festival, and Lunar New Year Festival.
The Director of Transport Department is in charge of reviewing and regulating transport to avoid congestions and eliminate “black spots” in transport accidents.
The Director of Education and Training Department was assigned to educate materials on transport safety for high school students; implement the program on helmet gifts for children in 2019.
The Department of Information and Communications was asked to work with the Department of Transport and the press to disseminate regulations on transport safety./.
