VGP – Ha Noi is planning to operate more bus trips and add more buses to its fleet during the lunar New Year festival in anticipation of increased commuter demand.

Transerco, Ha Noi’s main bus operator, said an additional 46 vehicles will run in 26 major bus routes during the festive time, which falls on late January and early February 2014.

These are routes that have intersections with inter-provincial bus stations and run through main streets, schools, scenic spots and entertainment areas.

Transerco  said that operating hours will also be extended to meet higher travel demand which could double on these days.
With the additional buses, Transerco will be operating 954 buses on 50 lines during the traditional Vietnamese holiday.

Passengers can access http://www.timbus.vn/ to seek convenient, full and accurate information of buses and its related services in Ha Noi.

Since Ha Noi expanded its administrative boundary in 2008, the system of Ha Noi buses has played a more important role in meeting the increasing demand for travel of the metropolitans.
