First phase of Duc Giang Hospital upgrading investment project completed
VGP - Department of Health organized a ceremony to inaugurate a new building for – administration – ambulance services at Duc Giang Hospital in Ha Noi on July 21.

The building was constructed as the first phase of a VND 861 billion ($40.6 million) project to modernise the hospital and upgrade its medical equipment. The construction is 8 storey building with one basement, designed to accommodate 500 beds.
In the second phase of the project, the hospital will add a building with wards for inpatient and outpatient treatment, infectious diseases, pharmaceutical and medical, and other support areas. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2015.
Addressing at the ceremony, Chairman of the Ha Noi Municipal People’s Committee, Nguyen The Thao stressed the important role of Duc Giang hospital, which provides check-ups and treatment for people in Ha Noi and neighbouring areas of Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and Hung Yen provinces, as well as healthcare services during major events in the capital city.
