Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phan, on behalf of the Prime Minister, signed Directive No. 124/CD-TTg dated July 30, 2025, addressing ministries, agencies, and local authorities on the promotion of cashless payment.

The Deputy Prime Minister instructed ministries, sectors, and local authorities to promptly implement initiatives to promote cashless payment; strengthen leadership, guidance, and public awareness to further advance its development; ensure that the payment needs of citizens and businesses are met; prevent tax evasion and criminal activity; and strictly handle any violations of the law.
