Ha Noi ready to work with Russia in e-government

VGP - Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung has received a delegation of Russian experts and firms led by Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media M.Mamonov, to discuss expreriense in building an e-government.

At the reception, Russian Deputy Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media Mikhail Mamonov shared Russia’s experience in building Moscow’s public administrative model and developing smart cities, and the possibility of applying these models in Viet Nam.

He talked about the design of a national public service portal, solutions to a national services portal and information systems in interaction with people and businesses. 

He gave advice on building a cyber information security centre for Viet Nam’s Government office to ensure cyber security.

In turn,  Chung expressed his admiration for the results that the Russian Federation has achieved in the process of building the e-government, especially the unification of services and functions of the government. Chung also emphasized the possibility of cooperation in this field.

Ha Noi is always willing to work with Russian enterprises in learning experience and invest in building the e-government, he noted.

Mr. Chung believes that the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in general and the cooperation between Ha Noi and Moscow will deepen. 

He stressed the importance of building the e-government, towards the digital economy and digital society of Viet Nam in general and Ha Noi in particular.

The visit of the delegation of Russian experts and firms of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation on February 18-20 was made under the Memorandum of Understanding between Viet Nam's Government Office and the Russian ministry on the construction and development of the e-government.
