VGP – In celebration of the upcoming National Day (September 2), Ha Noi is preparing to roll out a wide range of new tourism products to attract both domestic and international visitors.

To accommodate the surge in tourism, the Ha Noi Department of Tourism will collaborate with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Guard Command to facilitate visits for people wishing to pay their respects at the Mausoleum during the holiday.

Bookings for the September 2 holiday have already increased by 30–40 percent compared to the same period last year, signaling strong demand.

According to the Ha Noi Department of Tourism, the capital is expected to welcome a significant number of visitors during upcoming major holidays, particularly during the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2, 1945 – 2025).

In preparation, the city has focused on developing and launching a variety of appealing new tourism offerings tailored to the preferences of holidaymakers. These include one-day tours within Ha Noi, suburban getaways, one to two-day trips combining Ha Noi with nearby destinations, culinary and cultural experience tours, and Ha Noi night tours. Additionally, new pedestrian zones and public spaces are being introduced, while existing tourist sites are being upgraded and revitalized.

Dang Huong Giang, Director of the Ha Noi Department of Tourism, affirmed the city's commitment to supporting tourism businesses, accommodation providers, travel agencies, and destinations in creating attractive tours and services to boost visitor demand.

The Department will also enhance inspections and provide support for improving infrastructure at tourism facilities. It aims to maintain high service standards by closely monitoring service quality and tightening control over pricing and service charges.

Promoting Ha Noi as a vibrant and safe destination

At a meeting on May 29 with the Ha Noi Department of Tourism to discuss preparations for the National Day celebrations, Phan Linh Chi, Deputy Director of the Viet Nam National Authority of Tourism, announced that the Department will cooperate with the city to provide timely updates on event schedules and traffic arrangements during the grand occasion.

Furthermore, the Authority will advise the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on issuing official guidance to relevant businesses, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for visitors.

Deputy Minister Ho An Phong also endorsed the launch of the campaign "Celebrate Ha Noi, Celebrate Viet Nam," aimed at showcasing the capital's rich cultural heritage and vibrant tourism landscape./.
