Ha Noi to spend big developing key industrial products
VGP – The Department of Industry and Trade of Ha Noi has said that the city will strive to have 150 to 180 products recognized as key industrial products by 2025.
It is expected that by 2025, local manufacturers of key industrial products will contribute 40-50% of Ha Noi’s industrial production value and 20-25% of its total export and import revenues.
Thus, each year, 100 to 200 enterprises manufacturing key industrial products will get supported and benefit from the city’s policies.
By 2025, Ha Noi will establish large-scale key industrial product producers that are internationally competitive and able to join the global production and supply chains as well as leading and promoting the development of the city's small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the same fields.
Ha Noi has issued a plan on the implementation of the project to develop key industrial products in the period of 2021-2025, with an estimated budget of VND200 billion (US$8.62 million).
Specifically, the Ha Noi Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for advising the municipal People’s Committee and proposing tasks and plans for the implementation of a project to develop key industrial products for each year; regularly inspecting and supervising the implementation process to ensure practicality, efficiency, no overlap, and compliance with regulations; and reviewing policies and mechanisms to propose relevant adjustments and supplements.
