HN seeks 15 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine for dwellers
VGP – Ha Noi expects to purchase 15 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines for over 18s with multiple shots each, according to the Ha Noi Department of Health.

The Department consulted the municipal People’s Committee to send a document to the Ministry of Health on vaccine procurement.
Deputy Director of the Health Department Hoang Duc Hanh reported that Ha Noi has gone one week with zero local infection. The city recorded 35 locally transmitted cases.
The city identified 51,595 residents with travel records to Hai Duong including 2,436 returnees from Cam Giang district, a hotspot of Covid-19 in the northern province. In addition, 17,528 people who had contacts with 35 Covid-19 patients in Ha Noi at 18 areas were tested negative for the virus.
So far, the outbreak has been fundamentally contained in the Capital. However, the city still faces high risks of disease transmission. Noticeably, nearly 85% of patients did not exhibit symptoms of Covid-19.
Earlier, on February 4, the municipal Party Committee proposed buying Covid-19 vaccine for its citizens using its own budget and other financial sources.
