HN welcomes over 2.5 mln int’l guests
VGP – The number of foreign arrivals to Ha Noi has reached 2.58 million, representing a year-on-year increase of 12.2%, according to the local Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The outcome is relatively high amid the global economic downturn.
Key foreign markets included China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US and France.
The image and status of Ha Noi’s tourism have been strengthened in the region and over the world. Ha Noi has become one of regional leading tourism centers.
The city is pushing tourism promotion activities in the homeland and other countries; building new tourism products, upgrading tourism infrastructure, and improving the environment to lure more arrivals.
Earlier, Ha Noi was listed one of the top ten Asian tourism destinations in 2013 by Smart Travel Asia and placed 8th among 10 tourism destinations in the world by Website TripAdvisor.
Meanwhile, 14 million domestic guests travelled to Ha Noi in 2013, up 11.3% against the same period last year./.
