HN’s CPI rises 0.35% in December
VGP – Ha Noi’s consumer price index (CPI) in December rose 0.35% against the previous month and 6.37% year-on-year, according to the Municipal Statistics Office

In the final month of this year, only transport price declined by 0.23%. Meanwhile, prices of postal and telecom services reached a plateau.
The group of housing, electricity, water and building materials witnessed the highest rising cost at 2.5% due to sharp increases of gas prices.
Generally, in 2013, market costs were lower in comparison with last year.
The Municipal Statistics Office also reported that the Capital’s economy expanded 8.25% in 2013, a relatively figure amid hard economic time.
The agro-forestry and fishery sector grew by 2.46%; industry and construction 7.57%; and service 9.42%./.
