HN’s Party chief elected as Head of HN’s National Assembly delegation
VGP – The Ha Noi National Assembly deputies’ delegation convened a meeting on February 18 to vote their Head.

The delegation voted for Mr. Vuong Dinh Hue, who was recently appointed as new Secretary of the capital city’s Party Committee as their Head.
Accordingly, with 100% of vote, the Ha Noi’s Party chief is the Head of the Ha Noi’s National Assembly deputies’ delegation in the 2016-2021 term.
Addressing the event, Mr. Hue affirmed that he would work hard to fulfil the mission.
Vuong Dinh Hue, 63, a native of the central province of Nghe An Province, is a professor with a doctorate degree in economics. He's been a member of the 10th and 11th Party Central Committee, member of the 12th Politburo, the Communist Party's decision-making body, and delegate of the 13th and 14th National Assembly.
During this period, he spent four years (1986-1990) as a research fellow at Slovakia’s University of Economics in Bratislava.
Hue was appointed Deputy Head of the State Audit Office of Vietnam in July 2001. He became its head in 2006.
He was Viet Nam’s Minister of Finance from August 2011 to May 2013, the head of the Central Economic Commission from December 12 to April 2016, and has been a Deputy Prime Minister from April 2016./.
