iHanoi becomes public service super app

At the session held on November 27, the Ha Noi People's Council approved a Resolution endorsing the iHanoi the platform "Capital Digital Citizen – iHanoi" as the integrated digital public service platform; supporting citizens, businesses along with urban administration.
Accordingly, regarding the development of the super app, the Resolution stated the following:
The goal is to build and develop iHanoi into an integrated digital platform – a super application incorporating multiple services, connecting different administrative, economic, social, and civic activities of citizens and businesses in Ha Noi.
The Resolution defines the iHanoi platform as Ha Noi's unique digital gateway serving the citizens, businesses and supporting smart city administration. This platform will be an open, multi-channel digital infrastructure that collect, shares and connects the city and national information system and databases.
It's aims include providing comprehensive online public service, handling feedback and suggestions from citizens and businesses, improving interaction between citizen and the authorities, connecting local communities and strengthening local democratic governance.
iHanoi provides information, data and analytical tools to support administration at all levels in the city, while also integrating digital utilities and smart services such as transportation, healthcare, education, culture, tourism, environment, social welfare and other essentials.
The iHanoi platform operates and connects with national, ministerial, sectoral and local information systems and databases as prescribed, maintaining an efficiency in data sharing while offering personalized digital profiles, e-wallet and an integrated mini-app store.
The Ha Noi People's Council also approved regulations regarding the funding to incentivize organizations and individuals implementing public administrative services procedures under the Ha Noi People's Committee; and issued regulations on content and level of funds for activities related to policy and legal development, inspection, enforcement, review and systemization of legal documents in Ha Noi.
iHanoi: A unified platform for citizens and businesses
iHanoi consolidates multiple services into one interface, enabling users to: submit and track administrative procedures; receive notifications and documents electronically; pay fees and public service charges via cashless methods; access information on healthcare, education, social welfare, and public transport; report issues directly to authorities through real-time feedback tools.
By integrating databases across departments, the system aims to reduce paperwork, minimize redundant procedures, and improve transparency.
For city authorities, iHanoi serves as a centralized digital management platform. It allows: real-time data sharing between agencies; monitoring of urban infrastructure and public services; more efficient coordination in areas such as traffic, environmental management, and public safety.
The platform also enables data analytics to support decision-making as Ha Noi moves toward a smart, data-driven government model.
iHanoi is a major component of the capital's broader digital transformation program, which targets: 100 percent online administrative procedures; wider adoption of digital identity and electronic authentication; expansion of cashless public services; greater citizen participation in urban management.
