Mayor receives French Ambassador Olivier Brochet

The Ambassador said that he was pleasured to witness the positive feedbacks of commercial operations on the elevated section of the Nhon – Ha Noi Station metro line.
The Ambassador reported that the French Embassy is actively preparing for an inauguration ceremony of the elevated sector.
He hoped that the underground part, stretching from Kim Ma street to the front of Ha Noi Railway Station with four underground stations and one underground ramp, will be finalized soon.
The guest leader expected that Ha Noi and France will spur cooperation especially in sustainable transport connection in the Capital via the Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and Ile-de-France Region with "Moov'Hanoi" project.
At present, Ha Noi is working with French partners in the repair project of Long Bien bridge, agricultural wholesale market.
In reply, Chairman Tran Sy Thanh said that Ha Noi always creates favorable ways for foreign cooperation in all fields from transport, urban development, investment to people-to-people exchanges.
He also pledged that the local authorities of Ha Noi stands ready to cooperate with the French Embassy to timely resolve obstacles and implement the cooperative projects on schedule./.
