Promoting implementation of Ha Noi – Moscow cooperation projects
VGP - Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen The Hung on December 14 had a meeting with a delegation from Moscow (Russia), led by Mr. Tkach Igor, Deputy Director of the Russian Department of External Economy and International Relations.
At the meeting, Mr. Tkach Igor expressed his impression that Ha Noi is growing strongly in recent years. He also wants the two countries, especially Hanoi and Moscow, to strengthen cooperation to expand economic development, trade and cultural exchanges.
The Russian guest pledged to work to help speed up the implementation of cooperation projects. He hoped that the city would create favarouble conditions for investment projects of Russia in the Capital to be completed efficiently and timely.
Besides, Deputy Director Igor also expected that the city leaders will continue to enable businesses and Russian experts in the fields of development such as transportation, waste treatment, to invest and transfer technology to the Capital.
Agreeing with the proposals of the Russian guests, Mr. Hung said that the project of "Moscow House" was allocated with location and relevant departments will do to promote its commencement in 2017.
Talking about the upcoming cooperation, he said that the two cities should maintain the activities of cultural exchange, expand the scale of investment, exports and imports and so on.
The Capital will create favorable conditions for Russian businesses and experts to support technology investment and manpower training to improve the quality of living conditions of the people, Vice Chairman stressed.
