Proposal to study reinstatement of Kinh Thien Palace
VGP - Thang Long-Hanoi Relic Conservation Centre Director Nguyen Van Son has proposed upgrading and restoring Kinh Thien Palace as part of preservation works at Thang Long imperial citadel in 2014.

Mr. Son said that in 2013 the Council helped the centre carry out the detailed plan for the preservation and promotion of Ha Noi ancient citadel relics and Co Loa relics approved by the Prime Minister.
It also supported the expansion of the archaeological research scope; and basically complete the transfer of vestiges at the archaeological site at 18 Hoang Dieu street to 5 Hoang Dieu street and 4 Nguyen Tri Phuong street, he said.
In 2014, Mr Son asked the Council to continue to help the Thang Long- Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre expand excavation areas in the ancient citadel area, especially the management of heritages.
Vice Chairperson of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc requested that in February, Thang Long- Ha Noi Heritage Conservation Centre must review the implementation of commitments made with UNESCO, recommend measures and request competent authorities to review the excavated sites which had been handed over for planning the preservation.
