Seven parade routes set for National Day celebrations
VGP - A detailed plan for the grand military and civilian parade on September 2, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day was announced.

The parade will start at 6:30 a.m. at Ba Dinh Square, where senior leaders, officials, and invited guests will gather.
After passing the grandstand, parade contingents will disperse along seven designated routes through the city's central streets. An estimated 30,000 people—excluding parade participants—are expected to take part in the celebrations.
While Ba Dinh Square will be reserved for invited guests, residents may watch the parade along the designated routes or on 270 large LED screens placed across the city. Authorities have advised the public to follow security instructions and guidance from event staff.
Assembly points
+ Military units (marching): Phan Đinh Phung, Hoang Hoa Tham Streets
+ Military static displays: Bach Thao Park
+ Police units: Phan Đinh Phung Street
+ Mass organizations: Quan Thanh Street
+ Armored vehicles: Intersection of Hung Vuong – Phan Đinh Phung (near Thanh Nien and Nghi Tam)
Public attendees: Bac Son Street, Ton That Đam – Đoc Lap intersection
Seven exit routes
After passing Ba Đinh Square, parade contingents will disperse along seven designated routes through the city's central streets as follow:
Ceremonial flag unit: Nguyễn Thai Học – Trang Thi – Trang Tien – August Revolution Square;
1- Military and police blocks: Routes leading to Quan Ngua Stadium, Thong Nhat Park, and other points;
2- Mounted police: Le Hong Phong – Ngoc Ha – Bach Thao Park;
3- Red flag formation: Le Hong Phong – Đoi Can – Giang Van Minh – Kim Ma – Lieu Giai – Quan Ngua Stadium;
4- Cultural and sports groups: Hang Chao Alley → Hang Day Stadium;
5- Armored and tracked vehicles: Ministry of National Defense at Nguyen Tri Phuong Street;
6 - Wheeled vehicles: Routes to the F1 racetrack area.
This year's festivities will also feature aerial flyovers, naval demonstrations, and cultural performances, with military contingents from Laos and Cambodia joining the celebrations.
On the evening of September 2, fireworks displays will also take place at five locations in Ha Noi namely Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, My Dinh National Stadium and West Lake./.
