Supporting 15 billion VND for disadvantaged workers to welcome Tet
VGP - Ha Noi General Confederation of Labor is set to implement a plan to take care of employees on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) 2023.

The Labor Confederation will award 15,000 support packages (each worth VND1 million) to union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total budget of VND15 billion, from the Ha Noi trade union budget and the support fund of the Ha Noi People's Committee.
The Federation will also organize the "Tet Gathering - Spring bonding" program in 2023 and the "Trade Union Tet Market" at the Viet Xo Friendship Labour Cultural Palace in 2 days.
Several other activities include supporting transportation for 1,200 disadvantaged workers of industrial and export processing zones, Ha Noi's textile and garment industry, and 50% of the cost of renting vehicles bringing workers home for the Tet celebration.
Additionally, many charity activities, such as supporting the "Union Shelter" in 2023 and visiting and giving gifts to union members and workers in challenging circumstances will be carried out.
To ensure programs operate safely and effectively, the Ha Noi Confederation of Labor asked trade unions to mobilize many socialization resources to accompany employers to restore production and business./.
