Ha Noi, said Chairman Thao, is facing with unexpected soaring population, overloaded social infrastructure, traffic jams as well as environmental pollution.
To resolve the problems, Ha Noi targets to develop a synchronous and modern infrastructure system which harmonizes cultural and historical values and economic growth and focuses on intellectual economy and environmental protection.

Under the theme “Viet Nam urban future – Today action,” the meeting was jointly held by the Ministry of Construction, the Viet Nam Urban Forum and the Cities Alliance.
The event consisted of three major sessions on the development of ecological cities in response to climate change, roles and competence of local authorities in urban development; sound competition and diversified mobilization of resources for urban improvement./.
