Viet Nam-Asia Smart City Summit 2025 to take place in Ha Noi next month

Under the theme "Green, Smart Cities Powered by AI", the events will bring together policymakers, experts, and enterprises to discuss sustainable urban development, digital transformation, and green transition solutions.

Delegates will share visions, experiences, and best practices in building and developing smart cities across provinces and cities in Viet Nam and internationally.

It will create an opportunity to foster digital transformation collaboration among provinces, cities, enterprises, and organizations in the Asian region, showcase digital technology products and services that support the construction and development of smart cities and promote the growth of digital technology enterprises in Ha Noi and the Capital Region.

For Ha Noi, hosting the events carry special significance. It underscores the capital's pioneering role in implementing the amended Capital Law and realizing the Politburo's Resolution No. 57 on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

The events also aim to promote Ha Noi's image as a smart, innovative and globally connected city, while driving investment, attracting high-quality talent and advancing modern technologies for the capital's socio-economic growth.

According to Truong, the city considers science, technology and innovation as key engines of its economic and social development.

Ha Noi is committed to working closely with the Ministry of Science and Technology and relevant agencies to organize major events that spread the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship across the community, he said.

"Our goal is to build Ha Noi into the nation's leading innovation hub", the official underlined.

The events are co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ha Noi People’s Committee.

This year's edition will be the seventh event for Techfest and the eighth for the Viet Nam-Asia Smart City Summit./.
