Ha Noi comes second in administrative reform index
VGP – Ha Noi’s Public administrative reform index (PAR Index) 2017 ranks second out of 63 provinces and cities throughout the country, one notch higher than that of 2016.
Ha Noi and southern Dong Nai province came in second and third place, respectively, in the PAR Index of 63 centrally-run cities and provinces, while the central province of Quang Ngai reported the poorest administrative reform performance.
The northern province of Quang Ninh climbed to top spot among localities nationwide regarding to the index.
Twelve out of 19 sectors and ministries have the index at 80% and higher, of which the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) top the table with 92.36%; followed by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Finance. Meanwhile, the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs dropped to the bottom place in this year’s list.
Generally, the ministries, sectors and localities have gained numerous positive changes in their administrative reform, especially having deployed the models of dealing with administrative procedures online for the people and organizations.
