Ha Noi will create the best possible conditions for people to attend the anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day

In a directive issued on August 20, the city pledged to create the best possible conditions for people to attend the anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, with the grand military parade and march scheduled for 6:30 a.m. on September 2.

Special assistance will be arranged for elderly people traveling from other provinces, while veterans, seniors, women, and children will be given priority seating areas along parade routes.

The local authorities will set up 22 large LED screens at 18 major public locations along key streets, including the Van Cao–Lieu Giai–Kim Ma–Nguyen Thai Hoc route, the Nguyen Thai Hoc–Trang Thi–Trang Tien–August Revolution Square route, and city gateways such as Long Bien and Cau Giay. Over 260 additional LED screens will also be installed in schools, offices, and public venues to broadcast the events live.

Public transport services will be enhanced, with free bus rides and extended metro operating hours. On September 2, trains will run continuously from midnight until 10 p.m., every 6–10 minutes, pausing only briefly for maintenance. Major bus routes such as 09A, 22A, E09, 32, and the BRT will provide connections to central areas.

The city is also considering closing schools in urban districts on August 24 and 27 to facilitate parade rehearsals and reviews.

The highlight of the celebrations will be the grand military parade and public procession, expected to begin around 7:45 a.m., featuring tens of thousands of participants marching along Ha Noi's historic boulevards. The festivities will conclude shortly before 10 a.m. with a large-scale artistic performance.

The national-level ceremony is expected to draw about 30,000 participants, not including marching contingents, armed forces, and public groups. While Ba Đinh Square's grandstand will be reserved for distinguished guests, citizens may watch the procession along designated streets such as Hung Vuong, Hoang Dieu, and Kim Ma.

In total, more than 270 LED screens will be installed across the capital to ensure the entire city can join in the celebrations./.
