Son Tay walking line destined for traditional Mid-Autumn Festival
VGP - The traditional Mid-Autumn Festival of Ha Noi will feature a series of activities to be held at the pedestrian zone around the Son Tay ancient fortress from September 8 to 10.

Many activities will take place on the days, which coincides with the 13th - 15th days of the eighth lunar month, to help preserve and bring into play cultural values of the Mid-Autumn Festival, a big tradition of Vietnamese people.
The program's highlight is a gala on September 10 evening featuring traditional unicorn and dragon dances, and the presentation of gifts to 30 local disadvantaged children.
Besides, a similar dance festival will take place on September 8 evening with the participation of teams from districts across Ha Noi.
Other activities include a lantern competition on September 9 evening and a fruit tray arranging contest on September 10.
Earlier, the Son Tay ancient fortress pedestrian zone was launched on April 30.
The 820-metre-long walking line stretches over Son Tay town's Pho Duc Chinh and Phan Chu Trinh streets, the outer road of Son Tay ancient fortress, the flower garden in the town's centre, the central flower garden area square, the front yard of the town's cultural centre and town's stadium square.
Son Tay is one of the five satellite towns of Ha Noi with the main functions of cultural, historical, ecological tourism, commercial services on the basis of preserving traditional cultural heritage./.
