Youth of Thanh Tri District pays gratitude to heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Remembrance Day (July 27, 1947-2016), the Youth Union of Thanh Tri District organized a grateful ceremony at Ngoc Hoi martyr cemetery, Ha Noi.

Leaders of the Ha Noi Youth Union, the district Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and Youth Union’s members, member of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization paid tribute to the nation’s fallen combatants.
After the opening of the ceremony, the youths offered incense and flowers on 1,350 heroic martyrs’ tombs in the cemetery; presented two gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; five ones to outstanding wounded, diseased soldiers, and ten to former young volunteers in difficult circumstances.
On the framework of the ceremony, various gratitude activities were held to praise patriotism, raise awareness, responsibility in preserving nation’s sacred maritime sovereignty.
