The project will be implemented between 2026 and 2030, serving high-performance sports training and hosting national and international competitions.

Covering approximately 4.88 hectares, the Group A project will be financed entirely by the municipal budget.

According to the proposal submitted to the municipal People's Council, the complex will comprise three main components, including a multi-purpose indoor arena, a sports training facility and an athletes' dormitory, along with synchronized technical infrastructure, landscaping and equipment.

The multi-purpose arena is expected to have four above-ground floors and two basement levels for parking, with spectator stands on all four sides and a seating capacity of 5,000–6,000. It will be designed to serve a wide range of sports, including volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, martial arts, fencing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, billiards and pickleball.

The training facility is planned to rise eight floors, with dedicated spaces tailored to the requirements of different sports. Its first floor will house an eight-lane swimming pool, while the upper floors will accommodate training facilities for dancesport, wrestling, Vovinam, chess, Wushu, karate and other disciplines. The eighth floor will provide sufficient ceiling height to meet the requirements of volleyball and basketball training.

The athletes' dormitory is expected to comprise 17 above-ground floors and two basement levels, providing accommodation and living facilities for at least 1,500 people. It will include common areas, medical care facilities, sports-specific meeting rooms, a dining hall, a canteen and other supporting amenities./.
